AJPD: Animal Control
The Animal Control Center provides services to the residents of Apache Junction such as adoptions, licensing, public outreach, education and many other services while providing shelter to cats and dogs that are owner surrendered as well as strays.
Victim Services
AJPD Victim Services provides for auxiliary members who help victims and witnesses with information and resources including transportation, personal assistance and sympathy.
End of Year Campaign
Each year the AJPD picks a particular need to help serve the community. Due to the extra challenges faced this year the AJPD is seeking your help in updating Personal Protective Equipment to allow officers properly protect themselves and the public.
Santa Toy Drive
Every year the Apache Junction Police Department officers identify needy families throughout the city who may benefit from the annual Christmas Toy Drive. Officers deliver toys and other gifts to less fortunate children in hopes of making their Christmas season a little brighter.
D.A.R.E. Program
D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. It is a drug abuse prevention education program designed to equip elementary, middle and high school students with knowledge about drug abuse, its consequences, and skills for resisting peer pressure to experiment with drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
