There’s still time to help the PD reach its goal.

With the advancements in the ever changing world of media and technology, the Apache Junction Police Department (AJPD) is seeking your help in updating their Media Community Liaison Office (MCLO) which is underequipped due to the new ways in which news and information is given out.

It is now necessary for the AJPD to reach out to the public that gets their news and information via the internet; including social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.  This has led to the creation of our very popular FYI Friday videos.  Thanks to FYI Friday, we are able to get our message out to an estimated additional 30,000 people that we were previously unable to be reached through traditional media.

Thus, they are in need of funds to acquire audio/video recording and editing equipment.  These resources will be used to produce public safety announcements and to support the various programs for children, adults and our seniors here in the City of Apache Junction.
